New Operation Counter Feature for Loadbuster® — The S&C Loadbreak Tool.

S&C Electric Company is pleased to announce a new operation counter feature for the S&C Loadbuster Loadbreak Tool. This new feature enables Loadbuster users to monitor the use of their tools, and make more informed decisions regarding inspection and maintenance. The non-resettable operation counter is now furnished on all Loadbuster Tools shipped. Since it’s built into the silencer, the operation counter can be easily added to existing tools during routine maintenance checks.

Incidentally, S&C now offers upgrade kits that allow Loadbuster users to modernize their existing tools for an enhanced operating life of 1500 to 2000 operations before inspection and maintenance are required. Each kit includes a new moving contact assembly, a new silencer with the operation counter feature, a label indicating that the tool has been upgraded, and complete instructions.
