System VI™ Switchgear Now Available With 2000-A Main Bus.
2000-A Main Bus System VI™ Switchgear
S&C has been continually expanding the Vista® Underground Distribution Switchgear product line since it was first introduced. Now, S&C is pleased to introduce another great addition to the Vista UDS / System VI Switchgear family: 2000-ampere continuous rated main bus! This exciting new offering was initiated through discussions with S&C’s customers.
System VI Switchgear with 2000-ampere continuous rated main bus is available with a short-circuit rating of 25 kA symmetrical in voltage ratings through 38 kV. Up to five 600- or 900-ampere load-interrupter switch and/or fault interrupter ways can be furnished in the SF6-insulated, welded steel tank.
Four-layer copper bus, dual air bushings, and a taller, wider tank are required to attain the 2000-ampere continuous rating. The dual air bushings are connected to the bus, which is external to the tank. Depending on the options specified, dual air bushings may be furnished on one or both sides of the tank.
